La Dott.ssa Ahmadi è nata e cresciuta a Roma. Nel 1994 si è trasferita nel Regno Unito, dove ha conseguito una laurea in Psicologia Applicata e un Dottorato in Psicologia Clinica. Ha vissuto e lavorato in Inghilterra e Galles per dieci anni. Al suo ritorno a Roma, nel 2004, ha aperto uno studio privato e ha intrapreso la formazione come Psicoterapeuta, con un approccio integrato sistemico e psicodinamico, conseguendo il titolo nel 2013.
Dal 2012 la Dott.ssa Ahmadi lavora come psicologa e psicoterapeuta per studenti e personale nelle Università americane a Roma. È Vicedirettrice del Servizio di Counseling presso il John Felice Rome Center della Loyola University Chicago. La sua esperienza personale come giovane studentessa all’estero, insieme al suo background culturale misto, rappresentano preziose fonti di ispirazione e riflessione nella sua attività clinica in ambito universitario. Il suo obiettivo principale è offrire agli studenti che studiano a Roma uno spazio sicuro, di supporto e creativo, in cui riflettere sulla propria esperienza e ricevere il sostegno psicologico di cui hanno bisogno.
Nel suo studio privato si occupa principalmente di disturbi dell’umore e disturbi dell’adattamento.

Dr Ahmadi was born and raised in Rome. In 1994, she moved to the United Kingdom where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. She lived and worked in the England and Wales for ten years. Upon returning to Rome in 2004, she opened a private practice and went on to train as a Psychotherapist, using an integrated systemic and psychodynamic model and qualified in 2013.
Dr Ahmadi has been working as a student and staff psychologist and psychotherapist in American Universities in Rome since 2012. She is the Assistant Director of Counseling at the John Felice Rome Center, Loyola University Chicago. Her own experience as a young woman studying abroad, as well as her mixed cultural background, are precious sources of inspiration and reflection in her clinical work in Higher Education settings. Her main goal is to offer a safe, supportive and creative space for students whilst studying abroad in Rome to reflect on their experience and receive the psychological support they need.
In her private practice, she mainly works with mood disorders and adjustment disorders.
